L1 Lobbyist Registration

Lobbyist
employers must sign L1's submitted by a lobbyist they employ.
Identifies lobbyist and employer. Indicates employment status and financial arrangements.
Shows general subject areas of expected lobbying activities.
Due Date: Within 30 days of employment as lobbyist or before lobbying, whichever
occurs first.
L3 Employer's
Report

Shows the total expenditures of the employer for lobbying. Includes information
not required of the lobbyist(s). Anyone who employed a lobbyist during calendar
year 2007 should file the L3 report.
This includes lobbyists who hired or contracted with other lobbyists.
Due Date: By last day of February. Covers preceding calendar year.
L3c Employer's Contribution Report

Identifies recipients and amounts of contributions exceeding $100 made by employers
of lobbyists.
Due Date: Within 15 days of the end of any month during which reportable contributions
were made.
L3 Employers
of State Legislature, State Officers or State Employees - (MS

Indicates when a lobbyist employs a member of the legislature,
an employee of the legislature, a member of a state board or commission, or a full
time state employee, if that employee remains partially employed by the state.
Due Date: Within 15 days after commencement of employment.
